The mission of Advanced Old Building Research is 

• to encourage people who study old and historic buildings to more thoroughly exploit the historical record, 

• to discover fuller and more meaningful stories about the people associated with them,

•  and to reach more satisfying understandings of buildings as physical artifacts.  

We will do that through website content, speaking events, and consulting services—for training, troubleshooting research problems, and coaching researchers.
